     Welcome to the McClelland-Priest Bed and Breakfast Inn located in historic Napa. Upon your arrival, the expansive stained glass doors open to a grand foyer and formal parlor once the elite residence of Joseph and Anna McClelland built in 1879 and former residence of Dr. Ethel and Dr. Carlton Priest and family.

           Relax amidst European antiques and Second Empire Italianate achitectural design. The original handcasted plaster ceilings and ornate period chandeliers set the ambiance of classic comfort within modern convenience.

     Retreating to your spacious, elegantly decorated bedroom suite you will experience luxurious comfort in a truly classic ambiance. Each bedroom suite is attributed to a famed composer, writer or artist. Fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and private baths in each suite add to your pleasurable stay.

     Strolling from the B&B located in the happening "West End" , you will feel the energy and excitement of Napa's newest Riverfront, a dinning and shopping delight. Five star Zagat rate restaurants line Main St. from the waterfront to Napa's North end. The newly rennovated Uptown Theatre is 2 blocks away and features nationally famed performers. Before dinner enjoy walking from tasting room to tasting room by foot. Across the river on First, headed east, you will arrive at Napa's most popular area The Oxbow District. Guests of McClelland-Priest B&B owner Celeste Carducci (3rd owner since 1879), can also enjoy another popular retreat- Uncorked at Oxbow, a state of the art tasting salon created by her and her husband Bruce which feature their award winning Ahnfeldt & Carducci Wines.

      Savour the full two course breakfasts prepared by Celeste or one of her trained innkeepers. Healthy, fresh ingredients are purchased from local stores and growers to create great dishes for you in mind and body. If you are feeling sporty, Celeste can recommend walking,running,cycling routes or an historic stroll through old town Napa.
